After early 1840, White and Independence Counties, Ark were teeming with Goads.

Where as the Smith/Macon Goads came from William Goad born 1734, the White/Indepedmdenced Goads were from John born 1729, brother of William

But not all -in white County in 1860 were sons of Marlin and Peggy Goad from Smith County, Tenn (through Madison County, Tenn.) Marlin, Sr. left Smith County in 1814 and went to New Orleans with Gen. Andrew Jackson and never returned. His sons were Marlin Young, Henry and John Marlin. That might be a reason for John and Sarah going there about the ssme time.

Always "mysteries".

Does the Bible mention any more on the Dodsons ? There was a Goad/Dodson marriage in White County, TENN.
