I am just starting to put my heritage together. Today I found the beginning of my Irish decent with the name Ludden but I know nothing of my great grandmother last name Glover.
I am guessing the Cherokee is in her blood line because my Ludden comes from Ireland. Any info would be great.
Patrick and Catherine (DOTY) LUDDEN. I've been told that they were born in County Cork, Ireland. They supposedly moved to Belfast, then to Manchester, England where their daughter Margaret (Maggie) was born. Other children included Leona and John Patrick LUDDEN.
John Patrick LUDDEN married Mary Ellen GLOVER about 1900. Their children included Raymond Glendale, John Wilbur, Richard Thomas, William (died an infant), and John Francis. John Patrick LUDDEN died about 1913 in a railroad mishap in the area of Vermillion, OH.
Mary Ellen GLOVER's family lived in or near Steubenville, OH.
John Francis Ludden is my grandpa who passed away at 91 in 2002.
