Dear "cousin" Jim
How delightful to touch base again!
Being the optomist that I am,I choose not to dwell on the state of the economy, including real estate, but instead I can enjoy this lovely Island and learn more about those who preceded us.
If you can help me in my Elizabeth Glover quest then I would be very grateful. The interest came because of the seven children that she and Samuel Baker Sr. produced,my ancestor is their second son Glover Baker. I do know that Samuel came from Chester County,PA and there is a possibility she married him there before his move to Va.His father and grandfather (Robert and Caleb) were gunsmiths, who are credited with the the manufacture of the Kentucky Long Rifle. This is more than you probably want to know but might help with my Glovers.
When you are not busy and need a break, come to Amelia and visit with us.
"Cousin" Wallis
