This is part of what I have on the Cullman Co Glovers in my files. I also studied the Curvins.
Daniel Glover and his wife, the former MaryAnn Blackwood, moved from Blount Co AL to Cullman Co AL between 1883 and 1885.
Daniel Glover was the eighth child of James Glover and his wife Mary. Daniel was born Nov 1840 in Benton Co AL. His father James (born about 1803) died sometime between 1845 and 1850. Daniel’s widowed mother Mary Glover and her 10 children can be found on the 1850 census of Benton Co. (now known as Calhoun Co.). She soon moved the family to Blount Co where Daniel’s grandfather and other Glover uncles and aunts were living. Daniel Glover’s grandparents were George Glover, born 1775 in South Carolina, and Rebecca Bynum, born 1783 in North Carolina. Daniel’s grandparents met and married in Pendleton District SC shortly after the 1800 census was taken. They moved to Franklin Co TN where they resided for 16 years, then moved in 1822 with the Bynums again, this time to Blount Co. AL.
Daniel Glover married MaryAnn Blackwood 29 Oct 1860 in Blount Co.. They had 11 known children, one of whom died quite young (John Glover).

2) Louisa E. Glover born Sep 1865; she married Isaac James 12 Oct 1886 in Cullman Co.
3) Mary M. Glover born 1867; she married Marion Barnett 30 Aug 1882 in Blount Co.
4) Rosey Ann Glover born Apr 1869; she married Henry C. James 6 Dec 1885 in Cullman Co.
5) Martha MaryAnn Glover born 1871; she married William B. Cupp 9 Aug 1891 in Cullman Co
6) Daniel H. Glover born Apr 1873; he married Manerva Lee 17 Nov 1892 in Cullman Co.
7) Nancy Alice Glover born 1875; she married John H. Conley 18 July 1894 in Cullman Co
8) Isaac Eligo Glover born May 1877; he married about 1901 to Marsillis Prentice in Cullman
9) John Glover born 1879; he died young
10) Rebecca Glover born Dec 1882
11) Dolphus Glover born Aug 1884
