Hi Kathy,

Great to hear from you. I am pleasantly surprised that the Dutch blood story actually drew a response! Currently, I'm in contact with Drew Welch whose decendent most closely matches my husband. Her ancestor is Jesse Glover born about 1815 SC, and is somehow connected to Job Glover. She suspects that this line came out of Barnwell Co SC and went to GA, then returned to SC.

My last known ancestor for my husband was George Glover born 1775 in SC. He does not appear to match the DNA from a male who tested and said that he descended from Ransom Glover; thus, I feel that my Glover line cannot be related to the William Glover and Mary Norwood lineage.

I have not run across any Glovers from the area of VA that you mentioned, but will try to research that a bit more.

Is there any male descendents left in your line that could get tested?
