Robert Bruce Glines 85 died tuesday (July 22, 1975) at his home 1657 Hubbard Lane. Born Feb. 28,1890 in Bellaire, Illiois, he had lived here since 1945.
Raised in Illinois he had spent some years in California prior to retiring here. He taught elementary school at Murpht or a breif time. He was a hybridizer of gladiolus and was active in the local and state Gladiolus society and was past secretary for the state society. In 1969 he won a National championship for his coral spire seedling. he was a World War 1 navy veteran and a member of the first assembly of god church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 saturday in Hull and Hull chapel and the reverand O.E. Summers will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorne memorial gardens.
Survivors include the widow Ada and a daughter Juanita McFarland--the rest I cannot read--
