Another thing. I found this marriage listing for Bridgerule:
Mary Ann Gliddon, 20, of Bridgerule to John Hill, Week St. Mary, 26 March 1846. Witness: Thomas Gliddon, father, labourer. They both signed X.
I'm not sure which Thomas this is. Maybe a third?
My Thomas' son William was married there in 1848 and the witness was Thomas Gliddon, tailor.
