I don't know if this is the same John (I don't have a middle name), but I have one born about 1790 in Pittsford, Lincoln, ME. d. Sept 25, 1875, Corinth, Penobscot, ME. Parents-Arnold Glidden and Anna Seward. To my knowledge, he was the only child they had. Arnold married Hanna Davis in 1791. I'm wondering if Anna died in child birth.
Hope this helps. I am trying to find more info on Arnold myself.
