Re: Joseph Farwell Glidden BD: 01-18-1813. Joseph's parents were Capt. David Glidden, BD: 12-14-1780, DD: December 1848; He married 02-17-1811 Polly Hurd, daughter of Stephen and Abigail Hurd. She was born 12-28-1788 and died September 1860.
David's Dad was Ens. Simeon Glidden who was born about 1745. He and Rebecca Smith were married 10-19-1767.
Simeon Glidden was the son of Jonathan Glidden who was born about 1696. He married Margaret Bean, daughter of Jeremiah and Ruth Bean, on 12-31-1729.
Jonathan Glidden was the son of Capt. Richard Glidden who was born about 1665 and died October 05, 1728. He married about 1686 Sarah____________ who survived him.
Capt. Richard Glidden was the son of Charles Glidden who was born probably about 1632. He married April 07, 1658, Eunice Shore, daughter of Abigail (Benson) Shore or Shoreborne of Boston, MA.
