Hi!
If I could pop into this conversation/posting on this Glue/Glew family.
John Glue/Glew father of Ann, Mary, Thomas, and John. This John married a Charlotte (is she also a Brown?). After his wife Charlotte died (bet 1851-1855) John married 2nd. John married Lydia in 1855.
Lydia was married previously to James Reynolds.
She and James lived in Pickering, Scarborough Ontario. By 1850 they removed with their family to live at Worth Twp, Sanilac Co, Michigan, nearer James' father Arnold Reynolds. James died bet 1850-1851 and Lydia returned to live back at Pickering.
Lydia married John Glue in 1855 (per 1861 census info at Waterloo) as they removed to live at Wellesley, Waterloo Ontario. Lydia died at Linwood, Waterloo in 1911. Lydia's son in law (Robert Y. Fish) was the informant on her death record and she was widowed at that time. Robert Young Fish married Mary Jane Reynolds.
I don't believe Lydia and John had any children together....though her name is listed on a marriage record forone of John's child.
So...with that said, might any Glue/Glew researchers ever discovered the maiden name of this/my Lydia/Lidia?
Thanks for any help! Drop me a line!
