Eric, This Philip was the owner of a flour
mill on Bens Creek near Johnstown. There are
several dates of birth given for him. He was
buried on the Anstead farm, but he and his wife were later reburied at Grandview Cemetery near Johnstown, Pa., when the four
lanes of Rt 219 went thru that farm. Are you
a descendant? I have Mahlon B 5-24-1857 D 11-24-1943, and Joseph B July 19, 1861 D Sept 19
1935. And I have the names of some of their
descendants. I am a Glessner descendant thru
another line, and was originally born in Somerset Co Pa, myself. I now live in VA. I
am interested in this family and have some
material if you are interested.
