I am Heather Mahala Bevan of Wellington New Zealand, my Grnadmother was one of the two daughters of Thomas and Louisa Glensor, her name was Florence May Smith (nee Glensor). She died in 1936 and is buried at Karori Cemetary in Wellington not far from the grave site of Thomas & Louisa.
I am in touch with a few of our relatives in New Zealand, but none in the U.K. only the wife of my Cousin John Smith whoes Father was my Grandmothers first son, and he stayed in the U.K. when the others came to N.Z. in 1924. I would love to make contact with any who can link up the chain, as I know that we have links in Aust. South Africa & U.S.A, and we are also curious about the name change. We know it happened on the way back from the U.S.A. but that is all.
