James Glenn died in Washington Co., VA, 1791 and left a will naming his wife and children. His older children were of age but his three youngest children were between the age of 14 and 21. The underage girl was named Jean Glenn. Could this be Jean Crockett?
A James Glenn was appointed guardian to a Jean Crockett in August of 1779. She was possibly the daughter of David Crockett, grandfather of Davy Crockett of Alamo fame, whose will was administered in 1778. The Glenn family could have adopted her or just raised her as a Glenn since she would have been a very young child or baby at the time they were named guardian. Any information on this Jean Glenn, possibly Crockett, would be much appreciated.
