Thanks for answering. I found Sarah(Sallie)with Elza JB Owen, I have no idea where she fits. I am researching William F Owen-born ca 1810-SC?. His first marriage was Linda Rilla Barnett)e). It seems some of the Barnett)e) family marrid into the Wood(s) family. WIlliam F Owen was married to Zilpha Wood in Gilmer Georgia.
William and Zelpha were on the 1860 Tallahatchie Mississippi census--with their children listed. Since William was born in 1810, I thought she may be a sister to WIlliam. This Owen family seems to have 3 first names-except for William -unless he has another first name-not listed. William and Zelph died in 1862--Miss- or Ark. Havent found thier pod as of yet. I saw where she may be the daughter of Peter Owen. There is also a James Owen married to a Sabra? Owen-that may fit. I have most of William F Owen's children and who they married. Elza JB Owen is the son of WIlliam and Zilpha Owen. Any info that you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much--Ginny--vlhac@wmconnect.com
