Hello,

I am looking for relatives descended from Benjamin Franklin Gleaves & Gertrude Letterlough Gleaves . He came from Cheraw South Carolina to Robeson County, NC in Early to Mid-1800's . Had a brother named Joseph, a writer/publisher who settled in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Undertstand there are many African-Americans with surname of Gleaves in SC, Tenn, Pa and North Carolina.

Am looking for serious African-American Researchers. If there are others having vital data concerning our ancestry, plese contact me.

My parents are Boylan & Cassie Gleaves and I as born in Cumberland County, NC.
