Me again. I reread your query and note that your grandfather's middle name was Leland. It turns out that one of my ancestors, Isaac Gleason3,(Thomas2, Thomas1) 1674-1737 married Deborah Leland, b. 1679. in Sherborn, Middlesex, MA. in 1700. This might provide a lead and a connection to Appendix A!!!!
