Skip -
What a coincidence - I am from Northeast Nebraska and I'm familiar with Dixon and Dakota Counties (I'm from Stanton County). There are lots of Irish in some of the towns up there (I live in Lincoln now). However, Alexandria is not one of them. Alexandria is a teeny town in Thayer County. Thayer County borders Kansas to the south, and Alexandria is southwest of Lincoln about 80-100 miles.
What are the dates your ancestors were in Nebraska? Do you show anyone named Ellen as being related to Julie?
