My husband is a descendant of Moses Gleason born 12 July 1862 according to the Gleason genealogy. His Father is listed as Moses Gleason and his Mother is given as Beulah Haven. Moses (1762) and his sons Chester, Thomas, Abel, Moses resided in the same area of NY as your Daniel. It is my belief that Daniel is a brother. On page 83 of the Gleason Genealogy their are two sons born 28/29 Dec. 1771 named Reuben and Darius. I think one of these may actually be Daniel as the birthdate matches and family members usually traveled together. Let me know what you think. You can email me at mickdee@coastaccess.com if you prefer. Darlene
