Theresa, I to have Gleasons in my line, but only in the early 1800's. My gg-grandparents were Patrick D or B Dougherty and Julia Gleason. They were from Tipperary. Julia would have had at leaast one child, Michael, born August 1832. She may have died not long after because Michael had a brother John, born April 6, 1837, who's mother was listed on his death certificate as Ellen Fey. The family immigrated to Quebec,Canada in 1840, settled in Ontario then migrated to Iowa in about 1869. I have a lot on Michael's line, but only recently discovered John. Any connection? Please contact me at skpdacy@aol.com
