Al,

Thanks for responding. The dates don't sound right, but then one never knows. My Daniel was born around 1830 and I followed him through the VT Census records until 1900. He was in the 1880, but then disappeared. I have also not been able to locate his gravesite either.
Do you know if the book you referenced is available on the internet??
