It might help if you gave approx. dates & locations in MI. My Gleasons came from Tipperary to Ontario (1840's) to Sanilac Co., MI in the late 1860's. The immigrant ancestor was Cornelius Gleeson. Cornelius had no son named James but one of his children might have. Lois
