I am looking for information on a John Gleeson who moved to Leflore County, Ms. from Canada about 1870 and bought land there. He came with a wife who died shortly after his arrival. He later had 2 other wives with whom he had several children. The only ones to survive to adulthood were Ada and Louise. Your post with Ada as possibly a sister of John interested me. I wonder if there is a connection between these 2 families. Do you have any info on any Gleesons moving to Mississippi?

Suzanne
