i also have the book, you're gonna love this title "Genealogy of the Gleason Family Compiled by Daniel A. Gleason to Which is Appended Genealogy by Elon Gleason "With Additions by William Gleason, of Delhi, also a Brief Sketch of the Dibble Family". Daniel died in 1908, Elon died much earlier, but their info is right on the mark with the vital records of MA. i have the feeling, that
they did the leg work themselves, whereas
John B. White may of hired out for his info.
or maybe did family surveys, and whatever was near worchester, became worchester, etc. i've entered in White's book into my computer, and am now overlaying Daniel/Elon's book over it,
and verifing all the records i can, and i'm finding quite a few discepancies, dates names and locations. i was just wondering what everyone else had found. everytime someone republishes a mistake, it becomes more of a
"fact", i just like to be as accurate as possible. thanks for your response.
