I'm looking for information on the Gleason family that originated with Ephraim from CT, then Joseph to Ephraim to Samuel Judson to Harry to Laverne Gleason. I'm mostly interested in making a definite connection between Ephraim and Samuel. I have a Samuel J. Gleason in the tree (I couldn't find him any further back than 1860) and I recently came across a Judson Gleason (1850 Census) whose father was Ephraim Gleason, in Austerlitz, NY born about the same time as my Samuel J. Gleason. I believe that Judson and Samuel J. are the same person as they both lived in Austerlitz, NY.
Does anyone have this information or conflicting information?
