Paul: The 1850 census indicates that William and Ann were living in Flushing Queens with the following offspring:
Martin Age 11 (my ggf)
Mary Age10
Sarah Age5
Johannah Age 4
In addition the following people are listed as living with them:
Stephen Potter Age 27
John Gleason Age 8
Alice Kennedy Age 20
Hope this helps you out.
My problem is I am unable to determine what county in Ireland they emigrated from.
My latest search is Tipperary as many Gleasons resided there.
