Gov. William Henry Gleason of Florida
Posted by: William Morgan Date: November 08, 1998 at 17:51:06

Does anyone know the ancestry of Governor William Henry Gleason of Florida?

He was born in New York State in 1830, and moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, as a young man. He came to Florida after the Civil War, and was the founder of the town of Eau Gallie.

Any help greatly appreciated.
