Gleasons/McConnells in Indiana, 1840's

Searching for more information to connect my McConnell ancestors to family of Gleasons. Marriage application of my ancestor, John L. McConnell, was signed by James Gleason. (Marriage to Louisa Anderson 10/1/1844, Montgomery Co. IN) Marriage affidavit for Edward B. McConnell signed by John L. McConnell (Edward's brother, I think.) Edward married Sophronia Gleason--permission by mother, Cynthia Gleason--Montgomery County, 10/3/1847. Cynthia Gleason found living at the home of Joseph W. and Lydia Ann (Gleason?) McConnell in 1860. Listed as born 1795, New York. Anyone recognize these individuals? Please help if you can. Many thanks.
