I don't know how you have progressed with your Gleasons since your posting in 2000. I believe that the Mindwell Howard, who married Jonathan Gleason (October 22, 1760) in about 1789, was born on May 26, 1769 in Cumberland RI and died abt 1840 in Haldimand Twp, Northumberland Co, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of Seth Howard (March 08, 1738/39 in Stoughton, MA)and Phebe Hayden. I believe her brother Nathan Howard is my 4th Great Grandfather. He moved first to Rowe, MA, and then to southern Ontario. In Rowe there was another large family of Gleasons, and it is possible that Nathan may have also married into this family.

The names I have for Jonathan and Mindwell's offspring are: Eunice (1790); Margaret (1792); Seth(1793); Oliver (February 13, 1796); Jesse (1798); Leonard (1806); Samuel (1807); Lydia (May 8, 1808); Sabra Mindwell (1812)

Perhaps this helps. If you have discovered any more information about this family please let me know.
