Elizabeth Harlow, born 1799/Gleason Connection?

In my research of my maternal line of Gleason (my Mother's maiden name), I've found a letter posted in 1961 from a cousin Hattie Gardner. At the time, she lived in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. She wrote in part: "According to information I have gathered, Joshua B. Ford, born 1777 married Elizabeth Harlow, born 1779" She goes on to say that "we are direct descendants of the Harlows of Plymouth Pilgrims, whose original house has been restored in Plymouth".

Any information regarding the Harlow and/or Gleason line would be most appreciated.
