I've just come across your Feb 2003 msg and I think I may have info that could be of interest.
On 1 Oct 1908 Winifred Kelly nee Gleeson, age 23, sailed to USA on ship Umbria arriving Ellis Island 1 Oct 1908. She was going to join her husband Patrick Kelly at 527 Jefferson Avenue, Colorado City. She had a baby son with her, Michael Raymond Kelly aged 6 months. She travelled with Kate Crotty, age 26, a cousin to Winifred, and Julia Gleeson, age 19, a sister to Winifred.
I also have a Cornelius Gleeson, age 2 years, travelled to USA with Kate Gleeson age 30, his mother, on the ship Insitania which departed Queenstown, Cork, on 29 Sep 1912 arriving Ellis Island 4 Oct 1912. I believe she was going to join her husband James Gleeson at 336 Bosita Avenue, Colorado Springs.
There were other Gleesons who emigrated from Nenagh, Co Tipperary,to Colorado Springs. To begin with, John Gleeson, born about 1867, married Mary Croty, born 31 May 1870, on 18 Oct 1891. They had 8 children : Margaret b.11 Sep 1892, Mary b.2 Dec 1894, Winifred b.8 Jan 1896, Edward b.14 Feb 1897, John b.27 Apr 1898, Michael b.28 Sep 1899, Richard b.23 Jan 1901, Anne b.17 Aug 1902. On 6 Nov 1921 mother Mary emigrated to Colorado Springs travelling with her son Edward on the ship Baltic arriving Ellis Island 14 Nov 1921. Her husband John had died prior to this date as she is recorded on the ship's manifest as a widow.Son John emigrated to Colorado Springs on 1 May 1921, travelling with brother Michael, on the ship Cedric arriving Ellis Island 9 May 1921. Son Richard emigrated to Colorado Springs on 1 Aug 1920 on ship KA Victoria arriving Ellis Island 9 Aug 1920.
I don't know how much of this is going to be of interest, but I hope you you get what you are looking for. Best wishes.
