Hello, all....I'm still gathering info on one of my grand uncles listed below: Dr. Bert Fuller Gleason lived in Randolph from 1909 until 1947. He was first married to Adeline Miller and this marriage produced two daughters. Adeline died in March of 1928. Dr. Gleason re-married in 1929 to Mary Lorge. They lived at 504 E. Jackson, I believe. He was a mayor of Randolph, on the city council for 18 years, president of the Cedar Co. Medical Society, president of the Lions Club, and commander of the American Legion, Chapt 14. He died 28 Jul 1962 in Everett, WA. He was my Grand Uncle. So with all this, here my search continues: Daughter #1: Virginia Louise Gleason (1930 Census puts her born abt. 1910). She stayed at Twila Amderson's mother's house while she taught at Hartington (don't know the date). I would like to have any info on birth certificate, school pictures, teaching credentials, and possibly a marriage cert if married in Nebraska (married S.H. Nelson and lived in Yakima, WA). Daughter #2: Georgia Belle Gleason (1930 Census puts her born abt. 1920). Have nothing on her other than she married Ralph McDonald and lived in Banning, CA and had a daughter named Nikki that lived in Laguna Beach, CA. Wonder if anyone could look in the Randolph Centennial Book or the Randolph Times for any info on this family? Or maybe the museum in Randolph. I understand there some of his medical items on display(pictures would be nice). I have a copy of a page from the Randolph Times, dated 10-16-1947 telling of Dr. Gleason. I believe Twila sent that to me a few years back. Lastly, thanks for any help. Jim Erbe, Fresno, CA. Notify Administrator about this message?
