My Great Grandmother was Agnes (Gleason) Ball, daughter of Cornelius and Ann (Quinlan) Gleason. Cornelius was the son of Cornelius and Bridget (Mullins) Gleason. Cornelius, Ann, Agnes and Bridget all were listed in the 1880 Census for Speaker Township, Sanilac, MI. Cornelius (with Ann, Agnes, etc) moved to Mt. Pleasant, MI where Agnes lived out her life and raised several children. Many descendants remain in the area. I believe one of Edward Ball's (Agnes husband) sisters married a Metcalf (Levi?).
