Hi Marilyn,
According to the North American I.G.I., Mary Gleason m. Joseph B. Blosser 13 Oct 1855 in Mercer, Ohio. This could be your g-grandparents.
How good is your information that Noah and Mary (Reed) Gleason were born in New York? In searching my ancestral Gleason line, I have the following family group:
John Gleason m. Sarah (Unknown) @1783/85
Jerusha b. 15 Nov 1785 Granville, MA
Amasa b. 16 Feb 1787 Granville, MA
Jonathan b. 6 May 1789 Granville, MA
Betsy b. 16 Aug 1793 Granville, MA
Hiram b. 4 July 1796 Granville, MA
Noah b. 7 Dec 1798 Granville, MA
Dolly b. 11, Nov 1800 Granville, MA

I believe my ancestor is Hiram, but his next youngest brother Noah was born about the right time for your ancestor, and Granville, MA is only about 35 miles east of the NY state line. There is a possible Ohio connection. Noah's uncle, Joel Gleason (b. 18 May 1761, Granville) m. Kesiah Smith 27 Aug 1789. She d. 1818 in Enfield, Ashtabula Co., OH.

Hope some of this proves to be of value to you in your research. Best regards, Bob
