South Amboy, NJ Irish Gleasons?
Looking for background.Originally Gleesons, according to a family bible; came from, I think Tipperary in mid-late 1800s, (I don't actually have the bible--saw it once). Those born in early 1900s (including my grandfather, Thomas A. and my great uncles, John, Frank, and several other great uncles and aunts I never met) were born and lived in South Amboy. I'm fairly sure that's where the family settled when they arrived. I'm fairly up on the lines of those still living in the area, but would like to know where the rest are.
Would also like to find my cousin, Thomas Gleason, the son of Thomas R. and Grace (Suze) Gleason, born around 1954.Left home in the early 70s, last known address in Northern California.I know this isn't the purpose of the forum, and I'm really interested in the rest, but thought I'd throw it in just in case!
