Sorry I've not gotten back to you. I had total new hip put in 9-17-98 and have not been too chipper yet.

A grand aunt of mine Grace Gleason Dewitte died about September 13. She was the only sister of my Grandfather Gerald Gleason, he being of Orlo Gleason's line. But......while I was there, I ran into another grand aunt Doris (she was married to my Grand Uncle Philip & they were cousins or something)!! She's 92 now but says she had written down a bunch of stuff about her family being that of Perry's descendants. I asked for a copy but she said a neice has it. If I'm feeling better this week, I shall try to track her down at least by phone. Been kind of a mess as Aunt Grace's husband Otto DeWitte died last week too. Well at least they're together again.

I have a Gleason tracing that reaches back to Sulgrave England @ 1607 to a Thomas Gleason. Can follow that directly down to your grandfather Perry and my grandfather Orlo coming to Newaygo County.

Met a younger man from Ypsilanti last week who is also a cousin, evidently via Uncle Perry's line. He's very interested in coming up again some time to Volney Cemetery.

Well, it is last and hopefully the trouble I'm having typing is due to my pain meds. Stay in touch.
Deb M
