Gleason in Enfield, CT

Can anyone tell me if the various Gleason families in Enfield, CT were all related back in the 1700s?

I am tracking a line of Solomon Gleasons who found their way to New York, notably Troupsburg (also Troupsburgh), Steuben County in the 1800s. I am trying to find out if there were any Irish Gleasons in Enfield, or were they all of English origin.
