Robert Gleason of Philadelphia, PA

My great grandfather was Robert Gleason born about 1852 and was son of John Gleason and Elizabeth Logan. Robert worked as a Philadelphia street cop and owned a convenience store in south Philly around 1900. He married (1) to a Mary ? (who died later) and then (2) to Christine Aron. He had two daughters from first marriage and three daughters and one son from second marriage. Robert Gleason died about 1930 in Oaklyn, New Jersey. My grandmother Sarah Gleason told my mom she was related to the WWII actor James Glaason. He was born and raised in NYC but I don't know what my connection is to his family. I have located my Gleason family in the 1860-1910 Philadelphia census and in the Philadelpia City Directories. I have not been able to locate family in the 1850 census. They may have migrated from NYC to Philadelphia around 1850. I would appreciate any leads on this family. Thank you very much.
