John: Your query was a pleasant surprise! I haven't much information to offer you. My grandfather was David Basil who
lived in Chicopee and was married to Mary Ellen Reilly of E.
Longmeadow. Their children were my father,David James,Marcella, and Marjorie. Another child, Ruth, died in infancy. The family lived in Chicopee. Ironically, my father married Bertha Mazik who grew up in Ware! I don't know anything about the surnames Maloney and O'Brien. As to where
in Ireland my Gleasons came from I'm not sure-possibly Cork.
I intend to go to Chicopee to look up any existing records.
