November 1, 1871-May 18, 1943 Father: Edward Gleason Petersburg, Mother: Mary Giffen, New York. Was 73 years 6months and 17 days. Buried 5/21. Wife was Minnie Nation.

John Gleason "Johny", born 8/15/1868 died 8/31/1930. Was 62 years and16 days. Son of Edward Gleason an Mary Griffin of New York.

Mary Gleason, Bn? (Brooklyn, New York) Deid 1/11/1922 was 69 years. Wife of Ed Gleason Daughter of William Griffin of Ireland and Bridget Maher, also of Ireland.

Obit from Petersburg Democrat. 7/17/1914: Mrs. Martha GLEASPM (way spelled in book), widow of the late "Captain" Edward Gleason, died at the hone of her grandson, William Gleason, at Riverton Illinois, Monday, 7/13, aged 81 years.
Funeral services were held a t Tiverton, Tuesday morning at 8:30 Rev. Fr. Ciancy officiating. The remains were brought to Petersburg on the afternoon C. P. & St. L. Train and taken to the home of her grandson, Edward Gleeson and from thence to Calvary Cemetery at 9:00 Wednesday morning for interment.
The deceased was born in Ireland and came to America When 30 years old. For a number of years after her marriage she resided in Petersburg. Her husband died about 25 years ago. She is survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
