Hi Nadine...Allan did a good job on his post to you..we both have some of the same Gleason lineage. Aaron is my 6th great grandfather; Henry my 5th; Amasa my 4th, and so on. I wish I knew Henry's wife's heritage, too. Sure is a mystery! I am wondering if Henry, though, is the Henry that bought some land in Rowe from Conelius Jones. This tract was known for years as My-rye-field or Myrifield and a Henry Gleason bought a piece of that tract from Jones. So I take it that Henry and Hannah died there in Rowe, as well as Aaron and Eunice Gleason. I'd like to have photos of their gravemarkers, if any. Amasa Gleason was born in Rowe, too. Then Amasa moved to Oswego, NY. I would like to find out all I can of those Gleasons of Rowe, MA. I am working on that now.
Jim
