Hi, i read your post to Dwight...I am also searching fo Gleason's and feel there could be a connection with my Gleason's and Dwight's Gleasons but we cannot prove it yet...My Line I have gotten back to a Charles Gleason who married a Harriet Gleason (unsure of her maiden name)...Charles Gleason was born 7/8/1845 and died March 7, 1904...Harriet was 1842-1915...I have one son so far..Henry Gleason 1872-1928..he was born in either PA or NY...I am thinking TIoga County, PA...He married a Lena Rockwell...they had 5 children that I have listed but there are a few more...I am waiting for my Mom to dig out her Gleason info so I can add it inot my files...
We are pretty sure that Charles came from NY but where we have no idea...he seems to have just appeared in Tioga COunty, PA...I know you mentioned Osceola, PA...that is not too far from where they were living...Charles and Harriet and Henry and Lena and Henry Jr are buried in West Branch Cmetery in Tioga other Gleason's/Rockwell's are buried in Middlebury Cmetery (AKA Keeneyville Cemetery) and are close to Dwight's Gleasons buried there...I know that in my searchin it is common for family to follow family and live close to one another....
Do you think you might be able to help me?
Thank you in advance
