Hattie Gleason - need help!!

I am trying to find information on my great great grandmother Hattie Gleason b June 30,1862 d Oct 19,1898 m.George Bacon and lived in Clayton Co. Iowa. They had 7 children all born in Clayton Co. Iowa... mostly in or around Strawberry Point. Their children are: Perle, Earle, Roy, Frank, twins Ruth and Rama, and Laura. Hattie died when Laura born.

I am trying to find the names of Hattie's parents and siblings and where they were from. The only information I have on Hattie's family is that her parents ran "Merryland Farm" but I have no idea where it is located, and a family named Bartlett lived on the farm as well and helped run it. I believe the Bartletts may have been related to the Gleasons as the Bartlett kids are referred to as cousins in photos. I do not know who owned Merryland farm! Hattie's girls were put in a convent after her death and the girls went to the farm on summer holidays to be with their Gleason grandparents. Hattie's daughter Perle married and moved to Boston, had two children and died at 28 yrs old. Earle moved to New York and became a cartoonist for a NY newspaper. Frank followed his father to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and worked in George's construction company. Ruth went to Boston to live with Perle but was sent to Edmonton to her father when Perle died, where she met and married Edwin Gee. Ruth and Edwin are my great grandparents.

If you have any links or information on this family please contact me. I am hitting dead ends here!
