Jackson J. Glaze
Died: 01-16-2008 Jackson J. Glaze (Jan. 16, 2008) Jackson J. Glaze of McMinn County, near Sweetwater, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16. He is a native of Sweetwater and resident of McMinn County all of his life and a member of Union-McMinn Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and was a 35-year employee of Cleveland Manufacturing Company. He was 55. Preceded in death by: father, Carl Dean Glaze. Survivors include: wife-Cindy Runyon Glaze of Sweetwater; Mother-Sarah Frances Burks Glaze of Sweetwater; Daughters and sons-in-law-Jennifer Michelle Glaze, Sondra Jaye and Scott White, Sarah Beth and Timmy Miller, all of Sweetwater; Mother-in-law-Roberta Runyon of Sweetwater; Sisters and brothers-in-law-Brenda “Peanut” and Paul Ronald Lingerfelt and Rita and Jerry Richesin, all of Sweetwater; Brother-in-law and sister-in-law-Ronnie and Missy Runyon of Maryville; Sister-in-law-Tamela Runyon Sheppard; Grandchildren-Benjamin Dakota White, Thomas Carson White, Samuel Jarod White and Brittany Jaye Miller; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Saturday, at Union- McMinn Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Alexander, Bryan Coffey and Jodie Moser officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Howie White and deacons of the church: Gerald Wilson, Don Reed, Marshall Moser, Verlin Galyon and Albert Lee Webb. Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Union- McMinn Baptist Church, P.O. Box 269, Niota, TN 37826. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, at the church. Laycock Hobbs Funeral Home, Athens, in charge of arrangements.
