Mildred Rose Glascock, 86, of Front Royal and formerly of Marshall, Virginia passed away May 1, 2013 at Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.
Mildred was born to Edward and Agnes Ridgeway Rose of Upperville, Va.
She was a member of the Upperville Baptist Church. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1943 and graduated from the U.S. Cadet Nursing Corp training in 1945 at Winchester Memorial Hospital. After raising a family, Mildred worked for Fauquier County as a school bus driver and later worked for the Division of Motor Vehicles, Manassas office, where she retired. In past years, Mildred was a member of the Marshall Vol. Fire Company Aux, the Marshall Ruritan, the Upperville Vol. Fire Company Aux, Front Royal Moose Club, and the Warren Co. Memorial Hospital Aux, where she volunteered many hours at the hospital.
Mildred was predeceased by her husband Eugene Glascock, grandson Berkley Stuart, and sister Beulah Rose Kenny of Upperville.
Mildred is survived by her children Timmy Glascock, Connie Leonard, grandchildren Kyle Glascock and Erin Glascock, and six great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at the Ivy Hill Cemetery in Upperville, Virginia on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 1 PM.
