SNYDER (RNS) - Robert Dee Glasscock, 73, a retired farmer, died Thursday at 4:45 p.m. at Snyder Hospital. Funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Northside Baptist Church with J.M. Dean, retired Baptist pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens under direction of Bell-Seale Funeral Home. Mr. Glasscock was born Sept. 4, 1890, in Louisville, Ky. He married Minnie Parrott Dec. 4, 1911, at Joshua. They lived there until coming to Scurry County in 1920. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include the wife; two daughters, Mrs. Graham Smith of Dunn and Miss Lorene Glasscock of Houston; four sons, H.D. of Dallas; Wayne, Floyd and Eugene, all of Snyder; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Fortenberry of Joshua; Mrs. Claude Shaw of Fort Worth; Mrs. Alma Lightfoot of Cleburne and Mrs. L.O.T. Bonham of Richland, Calif.; one brother, Tom of Houston; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
