HARTSVILLE. - Mrs. Florence A. Glasscock, 81, died in a Hartsville convalescent home Friday after several years of declining health.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, in Chester, directed by Brown-Pennington-Alkins Funeral Home by the Rev. Ray D. Beckham.
Mrs. Glasscock was born at Ninety-Six, a daughter of the late W.S. and Emma Agnes Smith Taylor. She was a member of the ARP Centenial Church in Columbia.
Surviving are her husband, Allen B. Glasscock, Sr. of Hartsville; a daughter, by her first marriage to the late T.D. Atkinson, Mrs. Harold S. (Florence) Lewis of Columbia; a step-son, Allen B. Glasscock, Jr. of Hartsville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Von Allen Week of Leesburg, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. William H. Shinn of Carolina Beach; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
