LACIURA Josephine "Josie" Frances Lavatino Laciura, 93 years old, of Independence, Louisiana, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, at Heritage Manor of Mandeville. She was born February 6, 1916. She is survived by her 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Barbara Naquin and husband Wayne, Sylvia Greco and husband Andrew; 3 grandchildren, Scott Naquin, Amy Greco Glasscock and husband Brandon, Adam Greco; 2 great-grandchildren, Andrew Carter Glasscock, Evelyn Claire Glasscock; 2 sisters, Rose Graphia, Anna Vicarra; 1 brother, Vic Lavatino. She is preceded in death by her parents, Angelo & Vita Cali Lavatino; husband, Joseph Laciura; sister, Mary Lavatino; 3 brothers, Frank, Phillip, and Sam Lavatino; grandson, Mark Naquin. Friends will be received Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Independence from 10 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon.
