HENDERSON - Services for Ouida L. Broome, 87, of Henderson, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel of Henderson, with the Rev. Carmen Rackel officiating. Burial will be in Rusk County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Broome died August 10, 2008, in Henderson.
Born February 2, 1921, in Panola County, she was a longtime Henderson resident, beautician and charter member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Murlin Broome; and daughter, Terry Glasscock. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Ouida L. Broome, 87, of Henderson, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Rader Funeral Chapel with Rev. Carmen Rackel officiating. Burial will be in Rusk County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Broome died Sunday, August 10, 2008, at Henderson Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 2, 1921, in Panola County to John Mason and Roxie Ameson Cozart. A long time Henderson resident, she was a hairdresser for over fifty years and she was a charter member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her husband of 71 years, Murlin Broome of Henderson; daughter, Terry Glasscock and husband Karyl of Frisco; grandchildren, Chet Classcock of Austin, Coy Glasscock and wife Allyson of Newport Beach, CA., and Kerrie Glasscock Longoria and husband Albert of Frisco; great grandchildren, Mason Glasscock of Austin, Kortney Longoria of Plano, and Kalie Longoria of Frisco.
Pallbearers will be Joe Lowe, Dan Hollis, Mack Strong, Sandy Snelgrove, Todd Springfield, and Orion Stroud.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
