Trying to trace descendants of my wifes Grandfather.
His name was petras Tunilla and was Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1919.
he had Children with Rose Ann Sweeney
Children included
Jean O'Brien (rose's first marriage to james o'brien)
Joe
Tony
Nielly
Ona
Roseann
brian
bBernadette
Lorraine
Peter
Janet
Mary Lorraine
His Parents also married in Glasgow on 28 Jan 1916 in The Gorbals area of Glasgow. We believe they came from Lithuania. What brought them to Glasgow from Lithuania we dont know.
they were called Petras Tunila ( maybe Tunyla ?)b. circa 1887
and Ona Beluti.B.Circa 1883. (she was married previously to William Shalopski/shalouska? ...also had family of that name in Glasgow.)
Petras Senior's dad was Jurgies Tunila(Tunyla)
and mum was Ona Pokas (poss Pukas ?)
Ona Beluti's dad was Mateus Beluti and mum was Madge Dakshiuti.
Any info on these names would be very much apreciated, as i seem to have hit a dead end.
