I have a scan of a tintype found in the belongings of Mary Jane Buenavesta Glasgow Castleberry Samford, daughter of Elijah Glasgow and Jane Jeans Glasgow (Weakley co, TN / Green Co., AR).
It could be anyone, of course, but I'm wondering if it may be Elijah (son of Isaac and Dosha Cannaday Glasgow), or perhaps one of Mary Jane's fathers-in-law, either a Castleberry, or James Watkins Samford. Could even be a Glasgow uncle. If anyone actually has or knows of a photograph of any of any of these folks, could you (send me a copy? ;) let me know who this fellow might be?? There is some very faint writing scratched on the back, but of course, unreadable. This person was probably born in the early 1800's.
